Russia claims to be the first country in the world to develop the much-awaited corona vaccine. Chinese pharma giants Synovac Biotech showcases vaccines developed by Synoform at the China International Fair for Trade in Services. Those companies have not yet been allowed to sell them on the market. Work is underway to complete the third phase of trials and get approvals by the end of this year.

Russia has already announced that it is ready for the corona vaccine. Two Chinese companies also put the vaccines on display in Beijing. The Oxford University and Modern vaccines are expected to be available later this year. Countries with money are already making arrangements to give them to their people. UNICEF, a United Nations agency, has stepped in to provide the corona vaccine to poor countries. UNICEF said on Twitter that it would co-sponsor the purchase of vaccines for 92 lower- and middle-income countries on behalf of the Kovacs Global Vaccine Facility, with financial support from the Pan-American Health Organization.
