 DO SBI PAYMENTS WITH TITAN PAY WATCH

The two companies have launched Titan Pay watches that work in conjunction with SBI's Yono app. This is the first contactless payment watch in India. SBI and Titan have partnered to bring these watches to the market. SBI Chairman Rajneesh Kumar and Titan Company MD CK Venkataraman on Wednesday virtually launched these watches in the market. With the help of this watch, SBI customers can make payments by tapping their hand-held Titan watch without having to swipe a debit card at POS. SBI Chairman Rajneesh Kumar said, "This will enable our customers to enjoy the latest shopping experience, which will be very useful in the face of ever-increasing digital transactions."

HOW IT WORKS...?

Customers need to register with Yono in advance to avail of this type of payment facility. The contactless payment process is done with the help of the highly secure NFC chip developed by Tapie Technologies, embedded in the watch strap. For payments up to Rs.2000, there is no need to register a PIN.

They are available in three variants for men and two for women. They are available in the market in the range of Rs.2995 to Rs.5995.
