It is known that the central government subsidizes LPG cylinders. 12 cylinders per year will be subsidized. However, you have to pay the full price when you buy the cylinder. The government then credits the subsidy double in the customer account. The Central Government will transfer this double through the Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme. The scheme was launched in 2015. This is a scheme to transfer the subsidy double to the bank accounts of LPG customers.

The prices of LPG cylinders vary depending on the oil prices in the international market. Oil companies adjust LPG cylinder prices every month. Hence fluctuations in-cylinder prices. In the case of a subsidy, the subsidy is credited to the bank account within a few days of the customer taking the cylinder. If you have not received subsidy money for two consecutive months, you need to know the LPG subsidy status.
