CHATTISGARH GIRLS SELECTED TO NATIONAL LEVEL
It was an inspiring journey. Nine tribal girls trained in hockey have been selected to compete at the national level in a Naxal-affected area of Chhattisgarh where there are no minimum facilities. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel started training these girls aged 14– 17 years ago in the Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh four years ago.
