INDIANS KIDNAPPED IN LIBYA
Seven Indians abducted in Libya They are from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. The Indian Foreign Ministry is in talks with African officials over the kidnapping, which took place last month. Is making efforts to release them immediately.
Anurag Srivastava, a spokesman for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, said that the kidnappers were abducted on September 14 in a place called Ashwarif and were on their way to the Tripoli airport on their way to India.
Anurag Srivastava assured that they had spoken to the family members of the kidnappers and were taking all possible steps to free the seven kidnappers.
He said he had spoken to Libyan officials and asked for the safe release of the Indians. He explained that Indians in Libya are working in construction and oil companies.
