WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMEONE WROTE A BAD REVIEW FOR THE MOVIE

In India, anyone can file a case at anytime without the fewest substantiation needed or demanded. 

 

 still, they can register a case of vilification, If the person is influential or is suitable to sway the police. 

 Still the case can not stand. Expressing your opinion is Right to privacy which is now a abecedarian right. 

 

 Unless you have expressed your opinion on government or an tagged official in which case you can be taken up on Sedition. 

Well, giving review is like having one’s opinion on it and unless it isn't scandalous it's fine. If it's within the limits also it doesn't fall under vilification nor brand claims. 

 

 If the review if scandalous, you can file a Suit to take it down and seek compensation from that person.
