The Federal Bank has good news for those looking to own a two-wheeler as transport facilities are inadequate or in trouble during the Corona era. The bike can be booked for just one rupee. The bank said in a statement that customers can pay just one rupee through a federal debit card and buy the rest with the EMI payment option. The offer will be available at selected Hero, Honda, and TVS showrooms across the country. On the other hand, the bank is also offering a 5 percent cash back to those who buy a bike with a debit card EMI through selected Honda motorcycle showrooms as a festival offer.

Federal Bank offers clients the option to choose an EMI for 3, 6, 9,12 months. To find out the EMI eligibility, Federal Bank customers should type ‘DC-SPACE-EMI’ and send an SMS to 5676762. You can also find out the details by giving a missed call to 7812900900. There is also a 5 percent cashback offer as a festive offer for those who buy a two-wheeler from Honda motorcycle showrooms. The bank said it was offering an interest rate of 17 percent on bikes with a capacity of less than 500cc engine.

The bank said it hopes to encourage customers with easy finance and cashback offers in the wake of the upcoming festive season, Corona Epidemic Protocols, GST reduction on purchases of two-wheelers through cards. The bank is offering an EMI facility on debit cards for the purchase of customer durables in 36,000 stores across India. Ecommerce portals Amazon and Flipkart have also recently started offering EMIs on purchases.
