A video of Bollywood heroine Deepika Padukone facing trial in a sensational drug case has gone viral. A video of her praising Congress party chief Rahul Gandhi has been circulating on social media. In a previous interview with a national media, Deepika made several comments on Rahul. She said the chances of him becoming the country's prime minister in the future were high and that Rahul would be one of his favorite leaders. She also expressed her view that genuine patriotism is seen in Rahul and that he gives more priority to the youth. He said he was a good example of a good leader and was confident of becoming prime minister.

However, the video has gone viral since Deepika's trial ended on Saturday as part of a drug case. It is heavily trolled by a group of people. It is learned that Deepika has also faced a lot of criticism over the JNU incident. The NCB has expedited the investigation into the drug case that came to light after the suspicious death of Sushant Singh. As part of this, actresses Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sara Alikhan, and Shraddha Kapoor were questioned. It seems that the authorities have obtained crucial information from them.
