HARI KRISHNA A CHESS PLAYER FROM INDIA DEFEATED AMERICA IRAN AND RUSSIA
Grandmaster Pentela Harikrishna is performing at the St. Louis Online Chess Tournament. He finished jointly with Aronian (Armenia) with five points after completing three rounds in the rapid section of the tournament, which features ten top players from around the world.
He defeated the American Grandmaster Linear in the first round and drew the game with Alireza (Iran) in the second round. In the third round, he defeated Alexander (Russia) in 41 overs. World champion Carlson is fifth with three points. He lost to Nepomiyachi in the second round and drew the game with Wesley in the third round.
