 MALLIKA SHERAWAT COMMENTS ON HER OWN MOVIES 

Bollywood star Mallika Sherawat says that the roles she plays on the silver screen are very different from her real life. Mallika recently tweeted in the wake of the Hathras incident which created a sensation across the country. 

She tweeted that similar situations would continue in the country until reforms were brought in to change the way women are viewed. In response to this tweet, a netizen criticized that "the principles you are saying do not actually resemble the movies you act in".

This tweet angered Mallika. `Are you saying that rapes are happening because of the movies I have acted in? If so, watching my movies is a reply to Maneyanda. Mallika recently spoke to an English magazine about the matter. "Everywhere you look today, the tide of protectionist sentiment is flowing. 

That thinking must change first. I would talk rudely about any subject. Do not do things I do not like. That’s why I missed almost 30 movie opportunities. For my silver screen characters, my life is very different. "I have never crossed the line on movies," she said.
