 POLAND TENNIS PLAYER SWIATEK WINS FRENCH OPEN AFTER 28 YEARS 

The Poland girl Swiatek created a sensation. She became the youngest person to win the French Open after 28 years. 

The 19-year-old Swift, who entered the ring unseeded, defeated American Sophia Kenin (21) 6-4, 6-1 in the women's singles final. Poland became the first tennis player to win a Grand Slam singles trophy.

Swiatek said she still did not believe in winning the Grand Slam. ‘It sounds crazy. I have won the Junior Grand Slam in the past. I'm here now. It seems that all this has been achieved in a short time. "I can not believe it," she said.

Swiatek has played seven Grand Slams so far and has never crossed the fourth round. During these two weeks, however, there was an unstoppable performance. She became the only undefeated woman after Justin Henin in 2007. 

Out of a total of 7 matches, only 28 games were lost. To beat her, she defeated 2018 winner Simona Halep and 2019 runner - up Marquette Vandrasova 6-1, 6-2.
