Indian ace shuttler Kidambi Srikanth stormed into the quarterfinals of the Danisa Open. Another player, Lakshya Sen, exited the tournament with a loss. In the pre-quarters on Thursday, Idoseed Srikanth defeated Jason Anthony Ho Shui (Canada) 21-15, 21-14 in straight sets.

Kidambi will face second seed Cho Tin Chan (Chinese Taipei) in the quarterfinals. In another match, Lakshya Sen lost 21-15, 7-21, 17-21 to Hans Christine Solberg (Denmark). Srikanth, who played aggressively from the start in the second round match, won the match in just 33 minutes.

Kidambi took a 4-2 lead in the first game and took a 9-4 lead at the same pace. He then played more aggressively and won the first game 21-15. In the second game, Jason gave a tough fight. Kidambi trailed 5-8. But, Mr. who scored six points in a row, got the upper hand with 11-8 at the break.

He won the game 21-14 without giving the opponent another chance with a series of rallies. ‘Jason competed hard until the break in both games. He knows exactly how to attack and when to defend. Srikanth said, "I am happy to have faced a tough opponent and emerged victorious."
