YouTube is one step ahead. Many companies are competing to fill the gap with such a platform with the ban on ticks in India. Has launched a short video feature like TickTalk called Shorts. Chris Jaffe, Vice President of Product Management at YouTube, made the announcement in a blog post. It has been revealed that "Shorts" is currently only available as a mobile app.
He added that more features will be added soon and expanded to other countries as well. Their new platform also has a multi-segment camera for stringing multiple video clips, a timer for speed controls hands-free recording, and countdown features. It is currently being made available through Android and will soon be launched on iOS as well. India banned 58 other Chinese apps, including TikTalk, in June amid rising border tensions between India and China. Indiana is the largest overseas market for TikTalk with over 120 million customers. It is learned that the shorts will be launched in the US soon in the wake of the Tic Tac Toe purchase deal not finalized in the US.
